Once upon a time, we were planning on going to Disney World with several members of my wife’s family. To help us figure out which rides our children could get on, we created a Google spreadsheet that listed all the rides. After adding in our kids and their heights, it could quickly showed us which rides the whole family could go on, and which rides we would need to do do a rider swap, or even skip completely.

Fast forward a couple of years, and a couple of friends of mine were planning their first trip to Disney World, and asked me for some advice. Aside from some of the tips and tricks we have picked up over countless trips, I also made a copy of that spreadsheet for them so they could figure out which rides their kids could go on.

It was at that point that I realized it was a short leap from a conditional spreadsheet to the site you see here that could be used by any family planning a trip to any park I could think of. And so was born "Is My Kid Tall Enough?".

Hopefully, this site will help you plan your next trip to your favorite park. If you see a ride whose height is wrong, or if you have a park you want to see added, head on over to the contact page and drop me a line. Otherwise, I hope this site helps you and your family have a wonderful experience.
